Personal Description: I am currently working part-time as a Learning Centre Tutor and also a mother to two boys age 6 and 11. I have recently completed the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) qualification and will progress onto working towards achieving the Certificate to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTTLS) in September. I am a warm and friendly person, who likes meeting new people.

Training Experience: I have worked as a Learning Centre Tutor for the last 4 years. My role as a Tutor involves working within a Learning Services Team providing high standards of tutor support to adults. I have also been involved in running basic email/internet workshops.

Training Approach: I find teaching to be very enjoyable, and seeing students grow in their abilities and confidence over time gives me immense satisfaction. I find screen prints with instructions to be very useful when tutoring.

Qualifications:

• Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Centre - Level 3
• NVQ for IT Users level 2
• European Computer Driving Licence
• Intergrated Business Technology
